A silver-catalyzed decarboxylative addition/aryl migration/desulfonylation of N-phenyl-N-(phenylsulfonyl)methacrylamide with primary, secondary, and tertiary carboxylic acids was described. The protocol provides an efficient approach for the synthesis of alpha-all-carbon quaternary stereocenters amides and isoquinolinediones.
